The COLT AGM took place at the Gregson Centre in Lancaster on Friday. Present were a number of the current COLT Committee including Captain, Andy McCracken, secretary, Sarah Patterson, treasurer, Chris Lawson and COLT Juniors chair, Alice Hansen. Apologies were received from Committee members and other members who were unable to attend.
The minutes of the previous AGM were adopted by resolution.
The Captain’s report showed the club to be in good health and particular praise was reserved for the success of the Junior COLT whose membership has grown considerably and has gained great success in local. national and even international multisport events. Andy made it be known that the coming year would be his last as Club Captain.
The treasurer assured the club that we are in sound financial health with a very positive bank balance. Audited accounts will be published in due course.
John Sutton presented a proposed club constitution (see below). The AGM agreed that once consultation on this has been complete the Committee could adopt the document without further recourse to a meeting of members. In particular, suggestions would be welcomed as to whom the assets of the club might be passed in the event of it being wound up.
After the meeting was wound up Double Deca Ironman, Dave Clamp gave the members a talk on his inspiring/crazy (delete as appropriate) endurance exploits.ProposedCOLTClubConstitution
